This is similar to Barr's book, but only covers English labels. Label names appear alphabetically, with separate listings for various catalog number blocks. These blocks are identified with their appropriate catalog number prefixes, label colors and series content. Finally, each series is followed by a column of catalog numbers and the corresponding year of issue. When known, the beginning and ending numbers are given for each label series.

This work includes both Private as well as Commercial issues, plus 2 additional supplements.
