The Rek-O-Kut Mk IV Preamp enables you to plug a turntable into any amp that doesn't have PHONO IN inputs, or to add a 2nd turntable to an amp with only a single pair of phono inputs. Additionally, it may be used to connect a turntable directly to your computer sound card, and a cable is included for that purpose.

The Mk IV Preamp is designed for both home as well as broadcast and studio applications. It may be used with a line level input on any amplifier or mixing console for playback of turntables equipped with a conventional, magnetic phono cartridge. It boosts the level of the magnetic cartridge and applies an RIAA curve, thereby enabling the proper reproduction of vinyl LPs and 45s. Add in an Esoteric Sound Re-Equalizer and you'll be able to properly reproduce vintage 78rpm records and vinyl from the early 1950s as well.

This preamp is designed to be used anywhere in the world. With its built in world power supply, all that may be needed is a plug adapter.
